The Wildlife Research Institute was established to create a public, non-profit organization to conduct research and provide data and education for the wise use and management of wildlife and wildlife habitat. Further, to promote timely conservation biology through cooperative programs with agencies, industry and academia. WRI is a land trust and manager of mitigation for sensitive habitats.

Golden Eagles Indifferent to Helicopters

What effects do helicopters have on Golden Eagles? As a result of conducting aerial surveys since 1996 to examine hundreds of eagle territories in remote areas, we have gained much insight on eagle behavior. WRI data supports that Golden Eagles are indifferent to helicopters. Read more about our scientific findings and become educated on this hot issue
