Spring Fever!

Explore Big Sky country with WRI Biologists who have conducted wildlife research along the Continental Divide since 2001. We know this area and its wild back roads like the back of our weathered hands and will show you expanses of open space teeming with wild raptors, song birds, ducks, mammals, Spring flowers, and lots and lots of newborn baby animals! Enjoy several nights at the spectacular 8200-acre Blacktail Ranch, a private Dude Ranch tucked away east of the Rocky Mountains in Wolf Creek, MT. Daytripping from the ranch, we will visit the gorgeous Sun River Valley, several Bald Eagle territories along the Missouri River, Golden Eagle territories that are a part of our longterm research study, and WRI's Research Yurt situated right on the famous Continental Divide Trail. You'll also explore a pre-historic cave on the Blacktail Ranch and have the option to explore trails on the 6,000 acre ranch by horseback! Explored the remoteness of Lewis & Clark County where the Corps of Discovery once traversed, Sun River, Helena National Forest, and much more. You will see the wonders of Montana in Springtime using our professional Biologist spotters and high-powered spotting scopes. A wild adventure with a lifetime of Montana memories!
