Mountain Lion Corridor Cams
Identifying corridors for illusive species like the mountain lion is essential to protecting the refugia they call home. Trail cameras are our silent eyes in the field! This volunteer research project has given WRI and our colleagues qualitative information on San Diego's mountain lions.
Golden Eagle Occupancy & Productivity Surveys
WRI remains dedicated to monitoring San Diego County's Golden Eagle population by documenting activity and productivity in their remote territories. These data are part of WRI's long-term database of Golden Eagle activity which houses records from the 1800's and inform management strategies for Golden Eagle protections that are still very relevant today.
